Rain Trip

I love it when the ground is wet, and I so love the sound of the raindrops when they hit our yero na bubong(as if there are millions of people applauding! Whoopee!!! A very SAD post trip

I hate this day. I just don't know why. Sobrang gloomy! Maybe because I knew that some of my classmates, former, in that matter, will be requesting for their honorable dismissals today. There's no turning back na. Argh. I hate goodbyes. I SO hate goodbyes. I always thought that I had enough goodbyes to last me a lifetime, but they just keep on coming! Naka chat ko si kuya RJ kaganina, and somehow, my loneliness subsided. Sabi nya, school lang naman ang lilipatan nila, pwede ko pa naman silang itext. OO nga naman. :) Ok lang. Maybe I'll get over it sometime. Just like everything else. Basta, sa mga aalis: MAKALIMOT,TATANGGALAN KO NG KILAY! TC guys! Bait pamandin nun... ------------- Today's a bit strange. It is summer alright, but the sun was hiding on the thick gray clouds. 3pm's like Good Friday. Really really dark. Then the rain started to pour. Should I take it as a blessing?

CD TRIP

I grabbed na my own copy of Imago's Take 2 and Hale's debut album. (Yeah! support Filipino Music!) Here's what I have in mind while listening to the CD's Hale's (a track-to-track analysis from aika's insanity) 12 tracks Track 1: Take No This guy's voice is cool. And he lookes pretty awesome too. Hehe. I love the 'ahhh' part. It's like a falcetto thingy, rock version. Track 2: Broken Sonnet This is my newest theme song. The melody matches the lyrics in its goodness. It's the perfect song to dedicate to someone you really really wish to be with. *big big wink* Track 3: Blue Sky Wow, I love the guitar intro! I love the sad beat. I love the 'loving you loving me' part. I love the chorus. I love the song. Track 4: The Day You Said Goodbye The chorus always gets me... most especially the last part of the chorus, wherein Champs voice was amazing. THE PERFECT SONG FOR THOSE WHO WANNA GET MUSHY EVERY NOW AND THEN. Track 5: Wishing aika: (about to push the stop button) I wanna listen na sa Imago... wait...hmmm... maybe later... i like this song... Imago's gotta wait. Hehe. Track 6: Here Tonight This song reminded me so much of Coldplay. And I don't have any idea why! But what's up with the repeatative lyrics?Anyways, nice slow beat. Track 7: Kahit Pa My personal favorite from the bunch! I think this is the upbeatest song in the album! I can listen to it all day! I LOVE THIS SONG! Period. Track 8: LIfe Support 'Sarcastic smile and fake hellos' I love that line... Track 9: Underneath the Waves Again, I love the guitar intro. The perfect (alternative) song to listen to when you're in love.(Indeed, Champ's voice would make you fall...:)) Track 10: Runaway This song's kinda like different from the others.Parang iba yung genre. It reminded me of another song I can barely remember. I love this one. masaya saya yung beat :) Track 11:Bent Down Ah... acoustic. The song's relaxing. Astig na acoustic. Track 12: Kung Wala Ka It's cool na ang 1st line sa last song sa album ay 'Natapos na ang lahat'. Cool no? O ako lang ang nakapansin nun? The Verdict: After numbers of attempts to stop the player and switch the CD to Imago, I finished the album with a smile on my face. These dudes actually sound pretty good. They are officially my newest fav band! hehe. Hale rocks!( ditto, Ralph!) Imago's 15 tracks. 4 of which are 'hidden' Imago simply rocks. They write great words and play great music. If I have to make a list of bands the Philippines can be proud of, Imago's on the Top 5. Need I say more? Support Filipino Music.And when I say filipino music, I mean FILIPINO MUSIC. Not those 'this song will give me money! buwahaha' kind. We have a lot of good pinoy bands, some of them are even unsigned. Sayang. Filipinos got talents. Support them.

Bikini Open Trip

Whoa! I can't tag on my own tag board! How cruel is that!? Whenever I post kasi something, the annoying 'cookies deactivated?' line shows up! Para bang nangaasar pa na sinasabing 'buwahaha! belat! di makapag post sa sariling tag! belat belat belat!' Can somebody help me out please... I don't know what these cookies are. I knew I read it somewhere in my PC while browsing, but I totally can't remember! Wahaha! I'm so stupid. So much for that. Deanna and I watched nga pala Bikini Open yesterday at SM Manila. Pero bago ko i-praise/ditch ang movie, kwento ko muna that I eventually bumped to Jayvee yesterday din sa mall. It was really unexpected since minsan lang nga ako lumabas ng bahay(yeah right) tapos makikita ko pa sya! Hehe. Isa lang ang masasabi ko.... Isa! Back to the Bikini Open thingy. Din and I were so excited to found out that the actors and actresses were there for I don't know reason. Syempre, makikita namin si Alfred Vargas!:). So, here came the artists na nga.. wala si Alfie! Ang lunkot :( Kaya, pasok nalang kami sa loob ng sinehan. If they only knew how many people they're gonna attract kung andun si Alfie.

The movie, over all, was not that bad.The story line was a bit cliche, but somehow they managed to stay put to reality ( unlike other movies - far fetched from reality). There were a lot of good laughs din. Although some casts sucked, others naman made a pretty good job in doing their parts.

Isa lang ang masasabi ko... ISA!( I love that line!) kidding aside, I think Cherry Pie Picache's role was the exact portrayal of one annoying journalist that a documentary show should not have as a host. You'll have to watch the movie to know what I mean. There's nothing really explicit about the film, just make sure to watch with an open mind!:) ----------------------------------------------------

New Look Trip

Ladies and gents, after all the hours spent on my PC, I now give you... POOF! Aika's Sanctuary, version 20! *clap clap clap*! Waha! I know, the layout's kinda childish because of the 3 oh-so-adorable little creatures atop one another, but admit it, they are really cute! This one's special because it's my 1st time to play around with Photoshop, thanks to DiorAngel's magical tutorials. I was hoping to produce some praise-worthy graphic or someting. I dunno. But I'm really really proud of this skin! CUTEEE! Anyways, I just saw the photo at yahoo and done some major retouching. Whoever owns the pix may contact me for proper attribution. The background music is, once again, an FF8 OST (entitled Fragments of Memories). I just can't get enough of FF8, so pardon me.:) Maybe i should take a break from the 'dark' schemed-layout. Just for a while. But for the moment, enjoy being young again. :) (don't forget to leave a comment regarding the layout ah! thanks!)

NewBlog/Cable-less Trip

Ayayayay!It's really getting uber hot in here! I was thinking literally, mind you. I thought it would actually rain yesterday because of those thunderous sounds. But it didn't! Oh! It didn't rain!:( Anyways, I just finished composing Doray's Blog. Please do drop by her site and tell me what you think about it.

I believe I made a pretty cool job naman. Pero I don't know. Hehe.:) Parang mas maganda pa nga ata yung pagkakagawa ko sa page nya kesa sa akin. Hihi:) Finally, naayos na yung cable namin. We were cable-less for about a week now. We thought there really was an interuption of service but we were suprised to found out na meron namang cable yung kalapit bahay namin(both Destiny Cable). My mom was really furious. She was nagging that she's a good payer naman pero bakit wala kaming cable. The story was yung kabilang bahay eh dapat puputulan, pero yung amin yung naputol. Argh! I don't wanna say anything negative. Basta, nakakaasar sila.Because of them, di ako nakapanuod ng Xmen: Evolution for one week. At di ko din napanood ang Junior Reyes Reports. Argh I'm planning to change na my layout as well. Pero I have no layout theme in mind yet. I'll work out on it later nalang siguro...:) ------------------ Blogger's asking for a word verification? Secret/I WAS aborted/Scientist Trip

Yippee! Finally, a very much visit-worthy site!(I just admitted that mine's not. hehe). It instantly earned my praise and now, it's my favorite site in the whole wide world!(or world wide web, either ways,they were both www!)

It's an 'ongoing community art project where people mail-in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard'(that's what the site says). Or (how i see it) it is the safest(coolest, and most creative) way to tell the world a secret, without revealing any identity.

Browsing the site, I've learned that each of us has his/her own confessions slash problems. Little did we know that someone, somewhere in the globe, has an identical burden as ours. We tend to under look that's why we always think that we are alone, that no one understands. This site shows that sometimes, humans aren't different from one another after all.

This freaked me out. If I were the person, I'd probably kill or isolate myself or something like that. It's a pity, that there were a lot of people who should have shared a secret to give them their respective justices, but because of certain circumstances, they chose not to. Here are some personal favorites. Basta, bisita nalang kay dun.

Here's a shocking secret(not anymore!). My mom, my sister and I were watching MGB. It was about an 'abortionista'. Suddenly my mom uttered that dapat pala iaabort ako noon. I was like 'huh'

'Kasi ang nahihirapan ako ng sobra noon. Nagtratrabaho tapos, buntis. Kapapanganak ko palang din noon (to my brother). Pero hindi naman yung gustong ipaabort kasi nagsisisi akong mabuntis. Nahirapan lang talaga ako'

THAT was suprising. As in. I was plain glad that my mom bumped her head somewhere hard and decided to brought me up to this cruel world. Or else, you would be reading something else. Or there would be no Aika Pascual! Or worse... the world would be dominated by huge egoistic robotic racoons!I know... teribble...
