Meet my inaanak, Jel!She is such a sweety! We visited her today and she's all grown up! the last time I saw her, she can barely see yet. But now, she's really really big na! At ang ganda ganda pa! Manang-mana sa kanyang ninang! Hehe:) I just finished reading the Half Blood Prince (last saturday, I think) and I was really really frustrated. Not the I-hate-the-way-Rowling-wrote frustrated. It has a sad sad ending. *Spoiler Alert!*. Just read the book to figure out what I mean. Sad sad sad. To those who wanted to borrow my copy, you have to wait for a couple of hundred years. Nakapila na kasi. Hehe. :D PS. Whoever you are, stop giving my cellphone number to anyone without my permission. THAT WAS WAY TOO COOL! WAY W.A.Y. TOO COOL! If you are a 'taong likod' (that's what we call ourselves, people sitting at the back part of classroom), youve probably heard me mumbling (or shouting excitedly) about a favorite poet who added me up in Friendster last week. Who would not be excited about that? I mean,I was a complete stranger and he added me up! HE ADDED ME UP! Can you just imagine that? Picture this: a person you really really admire and you thought that it would be more possible to talk to the president than to contact him just suddenly came up from nowhere and felt that you existed! I want to be like him when i grow up (or older, in that matter), except that i don't wanna be a guy. he is realy really cool. Nakakaaliw! Ang babaw ng kaligayahan ko... Then, yesterday, as i was checking Tinig Forums, I noticed that I have one new private message. At 1st I thought it was a spammer or a newbie who was annoyed by my forum picture. I was totally suprised that it was another one of my favorite poets!It was totally cool! He used a weird username. Then he told me that he's glad that I like his works. I was like 'OMG! Two talented poets in a week!'. That was cooler than sitting beside a popular baller during a basketball game. * Bonn knew the 2nd poet. I introduced the writer's book to Bonn and I think he totally liked it too. I guess, he really is a good writer since i think bonn was not a really big fan of poetry. ASTIG TALAGA! ang babaw ko talaga.... pasensya na kayo, na sta-starstruck lang:) hehe

Sorry for the late post. We've been really really busy with paper works slash quizes that caused the delay. Anywhoo, I'm back and I have a PE class in less than an hour! A lot has been happening in the country. Just read the daily newspapers. Watch the evening news perhaps. You know, it's cool to be aware of what's happening around you. You'll never know. Inaatake na pala tayo ng masasamag elemento at inabduct na ang presidente natin, di mo padin alam. I already bought my own copy of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince! I was really really happy since I alotted 1300 bucks for it. Then I asked the kind NBS lady how much would I pay if I made a reservation(yeah I did) and I have a Laking National Card. She told me that I would only have to pay 799! It was a complete shock! Cool ei? Then they gave me a 100php worth of book coupon. Cool. :D( The book really really costs 1499Php) (They even called me 'early bird'. Maybe I was one of the first to grab a copy. Hindi ako adik sa HP! ) I'm already on my way to Chapter 17. The 7th book is cool. I don't wanna draw conclusions yet because I'm halfway through, but I really like the twist and turns. And I love the jacket color scheme! Black and green! (Oo na, oo na! Book worm na kung bookworm. You can't blame me. They're very addictive. My vocab's blossoming while reading and it's the only way I recreate. There could possibly be nothing wrong with that) Oops, may exam pa ako sa History(about Japan) class! Argh!:) Plus, i have to add some more entries on my Eng journal. :) A little knowlege in Samurai X would really go a long way:)

OMG! A lot of amazing(yet unexpected) things had happened to me today. And when I say amazing, i mean AMAZING!:) OMG Situation # 1: UAAP OpeninG! Yeah, I watched the opening. Bonn and I to be exact. We were seated at the GenAd. Hey, it's better than nothing, right?(And don't worry, I make sure i didn't leave any responsibility hanging here at home before watching.Good girl:) The opening was cool. A lot of dance numbers. A LOT. But I lOVE this opening stunt better than the previous ones (don't get me wrong. this is my opinion). It was not boring. Medyo may pagkahalo pa ngang comedy at nakakaaliw talaga sya. Especially the Dragonball-Z look alike mascots and the slow motion parts. Nakakaaliw talaga! If you watched it, you'll notice some weird things in that part of the performance. They kinda like exagerated(e.i., the 360 turn of a judo/taekwando. Or the matrix- themed volleyball) but I absolutely loved it!Nakakaaliw talaga! Lumiliko yung mga bola! Kudos Adamson!:) OMG Situation #2: UST vs UP That game was way cooler that I expected. I never thought that UST would play such a great game. Too bad we lost. Ineexpect ko na matatambakan ang Uste, honestly speaking. With all that young ang less-experienced players, our team should be struggling in the game. BUT NO! We were leading the game the whole time. I told Bonn: (uste was up by several points and it was the last 2 minutes of the game) "Pusta ko mananalo pa ang UP nyan oh..." Yung ang mahirap sa UST(at sa iba pang team). Napapagod sa last minute ng game. Kahit sobrang ganda ng laro nila sa 1st 3 quarters, pag nagkapagudan sa 4th, wala din. Sayang talaga. Don't get me wrong again. I was really really impressed by the young team. Most specially Chester Taylor who scored a lot during the game (Astig ka Chester! I Kras Yu!), thinking that he was not given enough exposure last season. The usual looks and skills combination. He's undeniably cute and a little more exposure of his skills and in no time, he could be the newest hardcourt hottie a lot of girls would be screaming for. Kudos for Ust for the cool game. Congrats sa UP for winning. (I'm thinking on being more loyal to my university. But I just can't help it. MARVIN CRUZ!!!) OMG Situatiomn#3: The Bookstore event< my fave!:) Bonn and I were about to take the LRT home but on our way, we passed by Fully Booked.(For those who haven't noticed it yet, I am a complete bibliophile. A trip outside would never be complete without dropping by any bookstore) I was browsing one of the shelves in the store. If I remembered it correctly, I was looking through the Religion section. My mind was focused on the books, looking for familiar titles. I looked at my left side, then I was like*OMG! I knew that guy!* pertaining to the guy at my left. He too was browsing some stuff. I was totally starstrucked! He was Led of Kamikazee. I didn't notice Puto at 1st, but he was with him too! Talk about the best time to visit a bookstore! That was way cool! To take note, I 1st saw their bandmate Jay at SM Manila a long long time ago. It's weird to see two other members of Kamikazee. 2 nalang, official na ang Kamikazee ay "Ang bandang nakita ni Aika sa mall ng hindi sinasadya". Cool.:) *sigh* I love this day. Thank God for the wonderful experiences. ----------- PGMA will not resign. Well, Madam, if my memory served me right, you also told the nation during the pre-election period that you will not run. *sign*

OMG! Our house was nearly burnt down to the ground today! It was really really traumatic! I got home at around 1pm (we were dismissed a bit early) and found out that the electricty was off. I though pa nga na brownout until I saw my Tita and she told me that some circuit exploded that's why the people here switched off everything. Ok, fine with me. I was at the kitchen, reading the newspaper with 2 candles (kaya wag na kayong magtaka kung bakit naging 200-250 ang vision ko). Everything was so peaceful, most especially because I was the only one at home that time. Everything was so dark and quiet. Finally, a peaceful time, I told myself during an intrapersonal dialogue. Not until my younger sister came with her noisy gang tagged along. Manong Art instructed her to switch on the 'mother switch' then the lights came and electricity was on again. I was facing the lutuan side of the kitchen(andun yun washing machine kasi namin. Astig ng bahay namin no?) and then, there were explosions on one of the outlet!Really really freaky! In the 1st explosion, I felt numb 'coz I really don't know how to react (but obviously, I don't wanna laugh at that moment). On the 2nd explosion, fire.... BIG BIG BIG fire burst out from the outlet. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE END OF MY WORLD!I was alone in the kitchen and i froze to death! I don't know what to do! Then, I was like Ow sh*t! What am I supposed to do? Wait, I remember Bonn's home-made fire extinguiser way back in highschool. All I need are some vinegar and baking soda... wait! Where's that f****** baking soda! OMG! AM I GOING TO DIE?! PLEASE DON'T BURN DOWN MY HOUSE! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME YET! (another nonsense intrapersonal conversation.) *maybe i should take up How to Maintain A Presence Of Mind In Case of Fire Due To Electricity 101.

Bonn and I went to Sm Manila late this afternoon and watched Imago and Cambio performed live. I was so hesitant at 1st because spending a day with him means spending a lot of money. Kidding.

I went to the gig coz I thought Imago would be selling their 1st album there so I went although I felt the laziness crashing me back. I went there anyway and got some pretty good photos.
